Last April 6, 2019, the employees and executives of Telepreneur Corporation experienced #BetterTeams. There were around 50 participants which were divided into 4 teams.
During the #BetterTeams, they have experienced various challenges. Everyone shared experiences and everyone got their turn to participate in different structure learning activities. Even their executives participated and did what everyone else were doing. It was a very humbling example of leadership from their leaders.
Among the realization of the participants is the importance of communication in a team. Communication should go all ways – left to right, right to left, top to bottom and bottom to top. Everyone is coming from different experiences and so everyone has their own perspective. Considering each one’s perspective, everybody can be correct in whatever ideas they are sharing. The other party doesn’t need to be wrong, for you to be right. Both can be right, if only we turn an ear to really understand where the other party is coming from.
